i wish i was there instead of being there
First of all, CONGRATS to Ali and Malyn! Their short film bagged 8 out of the 10 awards at the POV video competition. And the film very well deserved it. Again, Congratulations! :D
...and I was really wishing I was there at the UPFI a while ago with the rest of K4 to support our beloved blockmate. But no! Habang sila ay sandaling nakabalik sa dati naming mundo, ako ay nalulunod sa feasib meeting sa 20th floor ng Pacific Star. This time though, I'm not there to prepare Delifrance for the agency people. This time, I was there to discuss with them the requirements of the projects. But the way being in that cold conference room made me feel...there's really no difference at all. It still felt shit. I still felt like Dax.

Once upon a time, in a far away land, may isang princess na gustong makarating sa Wonderland. Sa paghihintay nya sa carriage na magdadala sa kanya doon, dumaan ang isang napakagandang kalesa. Gusto nyang sumakay. Pero hindi huminto ang kalesa. Dinaanan lamang siya nito at nagpatuloy sa patutunguhan. May dumaan ulit na isa pang kalesa. Huminto at inalok si Princess ng isang masayang biyahe papunta sa wonderland. Pero hindi sumakay si Princess dahil umaasa siya na baka bumalik pa ang magandang kalesang naunang nagdaan. Patuloy na naghintay si Princess. Pero pa'ano kung hindi na talaga babalik ang hinihintay nyang kalesa? Pa'no kung kahit kailan, hindi siya isasakay nito?
Ang malamang na maging ending, maglalakad na lang si Princess mag-isa papunta sa Wonderland...
LANDMARK: Pero hindi pa naman tapos yung kuwento ni Orange eh. Puwede pa rin maging happy-ever-after...
KAHEL : Huh?? Pa'no magiging happy-ever-after yan? Pa'no kung dahil Princess has committed the great mistake of paghihintay sa wala, eh she'll suffer forever the consequence of that mistake...
LANDMARK : E pa'no kung hindi siya magssuffer? Pa'no kung sa paglalakad nya ay bigla siyang sabayan ng isang prinsipe?! Di ba isa lng un sa mga puwedeng mangyari? Surpresa ng buhay un!
KAHEL : ...hmm...eh yung prinsipe ba na makakasabay nya eh dun din ang punta? Pa'no kung hindi naman nya sasabayan si Princess hanggang sa dulo?
LANDMARK : E pa'no kung dun din siya pupunta at sasabayan na niya si Princess hanggang sa dulo??

TEORYA NG PILA
Ang pag-ibig ay isang mahabang pila. May tao sa harap mo. May tao sa likod mo. Ang problema, yung tao sa harap mo, preoccupied din sa nasa harap nya kaya hindi ka nya lilingunin. Pero dahil sobrang nakatuon ang atensyon mo sa tao sa harap mo (na hindi naman lilingon sau), hindi mo magawang lingunin ang tao sa likod mo.
...hay...minsan kailangan lang siguro ng isang malakas na tapik para mapalingon mo siya?
TEORYA NG TSINELAS
Kailangan na isukat muna talaga ang tsinelas para malaman mo kung gusto mo ito o hindi. Kailangan ba talaga? Eh madalas naman, ang sinusukat lang natin ay yung tsinelas na gusto na natin sa unang tingin pa lang. Pag nasukat na natin, dun siguro tayo magdedesisyon kung bibilihin o hindi. Hindi ba ganun un?
Kaya lang minsan din, may tsinelas na sobrang nagandahan na tayo unang tingin pa lang. At kung gusto ang pag-uusapan, gusto natin ito. Kaya lang kahit i-offer na sa atin ito, minsan pinipili pa rin nating hindi isukat. Minsan kasi, sa sobrang ganda, gusto na lang natin na manatili ito kung pa'no natin nakita. Kung isusukat kasi (o ipanlalakad), malamang marumihan lang. Minsan nakakahinayang.

1. Some celebrities have that uberly-very-very-very-very-very strong "celebrity feeling" within them.
2. Some agency people think it only takes 2 days to produce an out-of-town location for them. And now, I probably need to master the art of negotiating with their type.
3. Some people are simply heaven-sent!
4. Some people realize their dreams later than others do. But at least, it was never too late for them to pursue it.
5. Someone in this chaotic world can afford to be happy :: that's me right now. : )
